No clues yet in disappearance of postal worker

The Half Way Tree Police this afternoon searched the apartment of missing Post and Telecom employee, Tandy Lewis, but found no clue into her disappearance.

The police say at present, detectives are collecting statements from a number of individuals close to Lewis, 30.

They are also appealing to anyone with information to call the Half Way Tree Police at 926-8184, Crime Stop at 311, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest Police Station.

Lewis, the public relations officer of the Post and Telecoms Department is the second employee to go missing within two months.

Lewis who is from Dunrobin Acres, Kingston 10 has been missing since Tuesday.

She is of brown complexion, slim build, about 149 centimetres (4 feet 11 inches) tall and has a scar on the centre of her chest and the upper right arm.

At the time she went missing, she was dressed in a white strapless dress and a brown sweater.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Tandy Lewis is being asked to contact the Half Way Tree Police at 926-8184, the Police 119 emergency number or the nearest Police Station.

In August, Barrington Davis, the deputy security chief went missing.

His decomposing body along with that of a woman who also disappeared from Davis’ St Catherine home were found weeks later with gunshot wounds.
