West Indies, India to open 2013 World Cup
West Indies will play hosts India in the opening match of the Women’s World Cup on January 31.
The teams are drawn in Group A alongside defending champions England and Sri Lanka.
England will open the defence of their title by facing Sri Lanka on February 2.
England won the 2009 World Cup by beating New Zealand by four wickets in Sydney.
Group B is made up of Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa.
The final will take place on February 17 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
