The Highgate police in St Mary are investigating a case in which an illegal gun and ammunition were seized during an operation in the community of Siding yesterday.

The Constabulary Communication Network reports that about 3:15 yesterday afternoon, the police searched an abandoned building in the area and found a Titan Tiger .38 Revolver and five .38 cartridges.

No arrests have been made.
