Nelson clarifies role as manager to Opposition Leader

The new manager for the Office of the Opposition Leader, Dwight Nelson, says his tenure in that post should help Andrew Holness perform more efficiently in his job.

Yesterday, Nelson sought to clarify the shift in the office which saw him taking over the manager position from Senator Arthur Williams and Delano Seiveright being removed as aide and replaced by Marlon Morgan.

He sought to make it clear that he was only replacing Senator Williams in the management function and not the information spokesperson role.

The Opposition Leader has sought to downplay the changes, explaining that they were part of a rotation plan expected to give other members of his team exposure and income.
