Currency rates update – March 5: $97.22 to US$1
The Jamaican dollar lost $0.09 against the United States dollar at the close of trading today.
It lost a further $0.73 against the Canadian dollar when compared with the average selling rate yesterday, and $0.43 against the British Pound Sterling.
The gains and losses are based on the average selling rates.
