Police name 35 persons of interest

With a number of brazen daylight murders occurring in sections of Downtown Kingston in recent days, the Kingston Western and Kingston Central divisions of the police have released the names of 35 men who they have described as persons of interest.

The Criminal Investigations Branch says the men are drawn from eight gangs that are operating in sections of downtown, western and central Kingston. According to the CCN, It is believed that they can assist with several matters currently under investigation.

Investigators have identified the gangs as TIVOLI-YOUNG GENERATION, STRIKERS, SCARE DEM, FOUR STOREY, TALIBAN, GOLF, SPANGLERS and LUKE LANE.

Among those listed as persons of interest are Leighton Coke, also known as Livity, Michael Christopher Coke and Lester Coke from the Tivoli-Next Generation Gang along with Renardo Phipps and Mickalos Phipps, from the Spanglers Gang.

The Kingston Western Division lists:

Narado Kirkpatrick otherwise called ‘Cheese Trix Man';

Martin Mckinley otherwise called ‘Shotti Mark';

Patrick Stern otherwise called ‘Chimpy’;

Peter Mcleod otherwise called ‘Baby Blacks’;

Dwayne Stanley otherwise called ‘Lance';

Leroy Morgan otherwise called ‘Bobo’;

Kachef Williams otherwise called ‘Crawney’;

Oshani Allen otherwise called ‘Rico’;

Lamar Cooper otherwise called ‘Jesa Face';

Troy Vassell otherwise called ‘ Basha';

Okieve Rose otherwise called ‘Sugar'; and

Daniel Reid otherwise called ‘Mashi'.

Four others known only by their aliases: ‘Puppy Man’; ‘Amoy’; Oliver of a Wellington Street address and ‘Sassa Frass’ are also being sought by the Kingston Western Division.

The men are being asked to report to the Denham Town Police Station by 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013. Anyone with information that can assist the Police in locating these persons are being asked to contact the Denham Town Police at 948-6624.

Phillip Petgrave otherwise called ‘Nicholas’;

Shane Marshall otherwise called ‘Blair Don’;

Kevin Elliott otherwise called ‘Killer’;

Sherlan Johnson otherwise called ‘Genks’;

Richard Mckenzie otherwise called ‘Ukoo’;

Okeil Wellington otherwise called ‘Brown man’;

Sean Foreman; Sheldon Watson otherwise called ‘Kedi’;

Curtis Jamely otherwise called ‘Courtney Bell’ or ‘Chaka Bar’;

Kemar Harriot otherwise called ‘Puss-man’;

Miguel Haynes otherwise called ‘Two’s’;

Anthony Barnett otherwise called ‘Little T’; and

Nevardo James otherwise called ‘Urky’.

One other known only by his alias ‘Monkey man’ was also listed by the Kingston Central Division.

The men are being asked to report to the Central Police Station by 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013. Also anyone with information that can assist the Police in locating these persons are being asked to contact the Central Police at 922-6624.

Reports may also may also be made to the Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
