Two teens held for Ferncourt student’s death

2009-11-02 17:37:18 | (0 Comments)

The Brown’s Town police in St Ann have confirmed that the two teenagers who were being sought for the stabbing death of Ferncourt high school student, Garon Jones, are now in custody.

The police say the two suspects turned up at the station this morning in the company of an attorney-at-law.

Garon Jones was stabbed on the school compound on October 21, allegedly by a student of Marcus Garvey Technical High School.

The stabbing followed an altercation between the two earlier that morning in St Ann’s Bay.

The accused and his brother, who also attends Ferncourt have been on the run since then.

The police say the suspects will be interviewed in relation to the incident.
