NewsNWA to implement traffic changes in Montego Bay2009-11-03 12:59:36 | (0 Comments)
The National Works Agency (NWA) says it will as of next week implement several traffic changes along the Bogue Main Road in Montego Bay, St James to facilitate easier travel for commuters.
That main road has been a major cause of concern as the agency works on widening the thoroughfare. NWA communications manager Stephen Shaw says the agency will be separating the traffic by creating another roadway in the vicinity of the National Water Commission’s sewage ponds. Meanwhile, Mr Shaw said the new traffic system is to take effect on Saturday. He also said Church Street will be converted to one way from Harbour to Dome Streets. He’s urging commuters to obey the posted signs. Source: Gleaner/Power 106 News Your Comments
