Investigators are yet to find out why a 39-year-old mason was shot and killed in Princess Field in Linstead, St Catherine yesterday.

The police say Norval Johnson, otherwise called Wayne, was at a cook shop talking with someone when a Nissan Sunny motorcar drove up.

A man reportedly alighted the vehicle and shot him several times before driving away.

Mr Johnson was pronounced dead at the Linstead Hospital.
