The Electoral Office of Jamaica has indicated at least some of the constituencies to be affected by the realignment of boundaries.

The adjustment to the boundaries is to make way for the addition of three constituencies to push the total to 63.

The Director of Elections, Orette Fisher said in St. James portions of St. James West Central, East Central and North West have been adjusted to create the new constituency called St. James Central.

He said the other realignments will impact some constituencies in Spanish Town and Portmore in St. Catherine.
