Washington Boulevard traffic delays

2010-03-12 17:49:27 | (0 Comments)

The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists to expect traffic delays along Washington Boulevard and Molynes Road this Sunday, March 14.

The NWA said its contractor Surrey Paving and Aggregate will be undertaking excavation work along Molynes Road from its intersection with Washington Boulevard towards Sandy Gully.

The work will take place between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The manager of Communication and Customer Services at the NWA, Stephen Shaw said the excavation work is part of the major road improvement project now in progress along Washington Boulevard and Dunrobin Avenue.

The project is aimed at widening the roadway from its existing two traffic lanes to six.

The NWA is asking motorists to proceed with caution while traveling along the southern end of Washington Boulevard and along Molynes Road this Sunday.
