Update: Police seek hit-and-run driver

The New Kingston Police are appealing to Andrew Young of Lot 135H Opal Close in Hellshire Heights, St Catherine to turn himself in after he was involved in a hit and run incident on Monday night.

The police had earlier reported that an unidentified man was killed after he was hit by a red Toyota Tercel motorcar along Trafalgar Road shortly before 11 p.m.

The dead man’s identity has still not been ascertained.

The police are also appealing to members of the public who may have information on the whereabouts of Young to contact the New Kingston Police at 926-3508, the police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
