Edwin Allen, St Jago High retain Central Champs titles

Defending champions Edwin Allen and St. Jago High scored runaway victories to retain their titles at the two-day Milo-sponsored Central Championships, which ended yesterday at G.C. Foster College in Spanish Town.

Edwin Allen retained their girls title with 378 points, 53 ahead of second place Holmwood Technical on 325-and-a-half points. Vere Technical 271, St. Jago 261-and-a-half and Manchester High 138 completed the top five.

And St Jago High scored 259 points to defend their boys title. Holmwood Technical finished second on 166-and-a-half points, followed by Manchester High 100, Edwin Allen 92-and-a-half and Hydel on 85.
