The police believe Peter Bennett was the target of a gun attack on a bar in Bog Walk St. Catherine last night.

Bennett, 43, and Rupert Wynter, 31, were reportedly killed around 8 p.m. at a bar, on Church Road.

According to the police, the men were playing dominoes, when a car drove up to the bar. Two gunmen alighted from the vehicle and started shooting, hitting four persons.

Bennett and Wynter reportedly died on the spot while a woman and a man were injured.

The police said Wynter was recently charged for illegal possession of firearm.

He reportedly went to court on Monday, to answer to the charges but the case was put off, as the investigating officer is said to be on a six month vacation.
