Chang warns supporters

2011-12-13 13:41:59 | with audio | (0 Comments)

Water and Housing Minister Dr. Horace Chang has encouraged Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) supporters in South St. James not to be swayed by any short term actions and promises by the Opposition to bring water to the communities in the constituency.

Dr. Chang made the comments at a JLP meeting in Maroon Town last evening as he sought to shore up support for the JLP’s South St James candidate Homer Davis, who will be facing incumbent Derrick Kellier.

Kellier is being challenged by the JLP’s Homer Davis who is seeking to unseat the MP who has served for over two decades in the constituency.

Some 29,350 persons on the voters list in South St James.

Yesterday, Kellier told reporters that he was confident that he would be returned to office for another term.
