March 2 court date for alleged killer cop

Accused killer, police corporal Malica Reid is to return to court on March 2 when the murder of Negril businessman Frederick ‘Mickey’ Hill is to be mentioned again.

Corporal Reid appeared in the Home Circuit Court yesterday where Supreme Court judge Courtney Daye extended his bail.

A trial date could not be set because there are still outstanding documents to be served on the defence.

Reid is accused of shooting and killing Hill in Negril, Westmoreland, in November 2010.
