Inadequate parking slows revenue in Linstead

2012-01-28 15:30:15 | (0 Comments)

Business persons in Linstead, St Catherine, are complaining of a decline in revenues because of inadequate parking facilities for customers and traffic congestion.

They say the problem is particularly worse on traditional market days.
And the business people say the relocation of taxi and bus operators to Parade Avenue, in the heart of the town has made the congestion problem significantly worse.

They were reportedly relocated to facilitate the construction of a transportation centre at the site at which they usually park.
