Elephant man faces court today on rape rap

Popular dancehall entertainer Elephant Man is to face the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court today on sexual offence charges.

Elephant Man, whose real name is Oneil Bryan, was arrested on Monday and charged with grievous sexual assault and rape.

The police said the charges stem from an incident at Ele’s St. Andrew home earlier this month.

Investigators said a woman filed a police report claiming that the artiste sexually assaulted her.

Following investigations, Elephant Man was taken into custody.

The artiste is also before the court for allegedly stealing electricity.
