Juveniles on extortion rap to appear in court

2012-02-01 08:58:21 | (0 Comments)

The five juveniles from Manchester and Clarendon, who were last week charged with extortion are to appear in the Mandeville Family Court tomorrow.

The juveniles have been also been charged with conspiracy to extort.

They were charged after allegedly demanding $15,000 from a female teen, in order not to publish nude photographs of her, which they had obtained.

The juveniles were held at the Mandeville Shopping Centre last week Tuesday, during a special operation by the Organised Crime Investigation Division.
