Manchester crash victims need blood

2012-02-07 13:58:17 | (0 Comments)

The Manchester Parish Council has launched an appeal for blood for several victims of this morning's motor vehicle crash who are now hospitalised with a range of injuries.

Forty people including several students were injured when two mini buses collided on the Pen Hill Main Road in Manchester.

In a release issued this afternoon, the Council appealed to donors to give blood at the Mandeville Hospital.

The Manchester Parish Council also conveyed sadness over the early morning crash and urged drivers to slow down on the roads.

The police believe the crash was the result of improper overtaking by one of the bus drivers.
