New Zealand whitewash Zimbabwe

Hosts New Zealand completed a 3-0 One-Day International series whitewash against Zimbabwe with an emphatic 202-run victory in Napier today.

Brendon McCullum starred with the bat - making an 88-ball 119 as New Zealand racked up 373 for eight from their 50 overs.

Openers Martin Guptill, 85, and Rob Nicol, 69, set the stage by putting on 153 for the first wicket.

Chasing a victory target of 374, Zimbabwe were bowled out for just 171 with six overs remaining.

Brendan Taylor made 65 for Zimbabwe but did not get any support from the other batsmen.

Tarun Nethula, Nathan McCallum and Kane Williamson ended with two wickets each for New Zealand.

Earlier, Kyle Jarvis and Ray Price were the most successful bowlers for Zimbabwe with two wickets apiece.
