JFF secures two additional international friendly

2012-02-14 15:15:38 | (0 Comments)

Jamaica’s 2014 World Cup Qualifying campaign received a major boost as the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), has secured two additional international friendly games.

The latest international friendly games will be against Costa Rica on March 21 and Panama on May 27.

Both games will take place at the National Stadium in Kingston.

JFF president captain Horace Burrell says the games secured should benefit the team ahead of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

The national team is already down to play two international games against Cuba on Ash Wednesday, February 22 at the National Stadium and on February 24 at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.

The team will then travel to New Zealand where they face that region's powerhouse on February 29.

The Reggae Boyz open their 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign on June 8 at home against Guatemala.
