Jamaica take command against Leewards

Four-time defending champions Jamaica are in command of their third round Regional Four-Day Championship match against Leeward Islands, at Sabina Park in Kingston.

The Jamaicans, who resumed today’s second day on 220 for three have moved to 320 for five at the lunch interval.

Donovan Pagon, who was 106 overnight, went on to score 155. Captain Tamar Lambert was dismissed for 50.

The batsmen at the crease are David Bernard Junior on 20 and wicketkeeper Carlton Baugh Junior on one.

Over at Warner Park in St Kitts, Guyana, replying to Combined Campuses & Colleges’ 194, reached 166 for five following the lunch break.

At Kensington Oval, hosts Barbados, replying to Trinidad and Tobago’s 338, reached 60 for one following the lunch break. Fidel Edwards ended with five for 64.
