Spanish Town High student stabbed to death

2012-02-17 17:13:56 | (0 Comments)

A student of the Spanish Town High School in St. Catherine has been stabbed to death, while another is on the run in relation to the incident.

The dead student is 15-year-old Andre Chambers, of St. Johns Road, Spanish Town in St. Catherine.

Allegations are that during a Jamaica Day celebration, the two got involved in an argument about 2 p.m.

The suspect reportedly brandished a knife and plunged it into the abdomen of the deceased.

Chambers ran and collapsed some distance away on the school's compound.

The weapon believed to have been used in the incident was seized by the police.
