Gun, ammo seized in Brown's Town bus park

The police this morning seized an illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition at a car park in Brown’s Town, St Ann.

Reports are that a police team on operation in the area conducted a searched of a Nissan minibus, where a 9mm pistol with ten rounds of ammunition were found.

A man was taken into custody in connection with the find, but his identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
