Disgruntled passengers waiting in long lines at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St. James- File.
The Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA), says it is looking into the issues which led to the long delays experienced by passengers, at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St. James on the weekend.

Dozens of passengers had to wait in long lines to be processed by immigration officers.

The immigration officers are reportedly on go-slow to register their dissatisfaction with the agency.

The officers are reportedly upset about the disparity in the allowances and benefits they receive compared with their colleagues in Kingston.

An official at PICA, told our news centre that the issue is being investigated by the agency.

He declined to comment further only saying that a statement will be issued to the public at an appropriate time.
