No ease for motorists as gas increases again

The price for a litre of gasolene will go up by 89 cents on Thursday for Jamaican motorists.

It will cost $101.68 to buy a litre of E-10 87 gasolene while E-10 90 gasolene will be sold for $103.33 per litre.

This is the ninth straight week of gas price increases.

Meanwhile, the price of automotive diesel oil has been increased by 75 cents and will be sold for $105.08 per litre.

A litre of kerosene oil will sell for $107.80 following a 66 cent increase.

However, Propane cooking gas will move down by 89 cents and will now sell for $41.56 per litre.

The price of butane has been cut by 74 cents per litre to sell for cost $57.95 per litre.

Retailers will add their mark-ups to the announced prices.
