Six-bedroom house razed

The police are reporting that fire of unknown origin, yesterday destroyed a six-bedroom dwelling in Old Hope District, Westmoreland.

It is reported that about 2:00 p.m., occupants of the house saw fire coming from the rear of the building and alerted the Police and Fire Department.

One unit from the Sav-la-Mar Fire Department responded and carried out cooling down operations.

Loss is estimated at $1.5 million
