Badminton – Pyne, Henry move up world rankings

Jamaica’s top badminton players Charles Pyne and Gareth Henry have benefited from playing in the recent Thomas Cup by moving up the latest world rankings.

However, it is still unlikely that the Jamaicans will qualify for the upcoming London Olympics based on their current rankings.

Payne is now ranked at 101 moving up four places to achieve his best ever position in the men’s singles.

Henry moved up three places to 140.
