2012-02-25 12:43:51 | (0 Comments)

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz are now travelling to New Zealand to play the host country in their third friendly international game inside seven days.

The game will take place on Wednesday at the Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland. Match time is 1:30 in the morning Jamaica time.

The Reggae Boyz departed Montego Bay this morning, just 11 hours after they defeated Cuba 3-0 in a friendly international at the Montego Bay Sports Complex in St James.

It was the Reggae Boyz’ second straight victory over the Cubans following a 1-0 win in the first game at the National Stadium in Kingston on Wednesday night.

The games are geared toward helping the Reggae Boyz prepare for their upcoming 2014 World Cup Qualifying campaign.
