Speaking after the re-opening, National Security Minister Peter Bunting said the increase in criminal activities in St James makes it very timely. He says given the strategic location of the Barnett Street Police Station, it was important for it to be up and running in order to address the growing demand to tackle street level crimes and investigate criminal cases.
