Jamaican artiste arrested for marijuana in Grenada

CMC – Jamaican artiste, Leroy “junior” Russell, is due to appear in court in Grenada today, after he was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.

Police said that Russell, also known as ‘Tommy Lee’ was arrested at the Maurice Bishop International Airport on Sunday and the drug found in his possession.

They gave no details as to the street value of the drugs found.

They said that the 24-year-old Russell, who was the main act at a reggae show on Saturday, could face a maximum fine of EC$250,000 or US$92, 592 or jailed for two years.
