Parliament traffic changes

The Police are advising motorists that traffic changes are to be instituted as a result of the state opening of parliament.
As of 8 a.m., some roads will be closed to vehicular traffic.
They are Duke Street, between East Queen Street and South Heroes Circle,
Charles Street, between East Street and Church Street, and Sutton Street, between East and Sutton Streets.
The police say some streets in the immediate environs will only accommodate one-way traffic, while no parking will be allowed along some sections of the roadway.
Meanwhile, JUTC buses which normally travel along Duke Street from East Queen Street to Heroes Circle will be diverted west along East Queen Street to East Parade, North along Church Street, east along North Street, north along Central Avenue, north along East Heroes Circle then back onto the original route.
