One of two men, who were fatally shot during a robbery attempt by a licensed firearm holder in Montego Bay, St. James, on Sunday has been identified.

He is Andrew Wint, a 20-year-old resident of Plum Tree near Springmount in the parish.

It is reported that about 12.30 a.m. on Sunday, a group of persons were in a section of Catherine Hall, Montego Bay when two armed men attempted to rob them.

An alarm was raised, and the licensed firearm holder challenged the gunmen.
