Medical doctor murdered in Mandeville

The Mandeville police have launched an intensive probe into the murder of medical doctor, Clinton Lewis, who was found at his apartment in the Manchester capital today.


According reports, relatives and friends of Lewis became concerned when he didn’t turn up for work at the Black River hospital this morning.

The police, who were alerted, kicked off a door to his apartment at Wesley Terrace shortly after noon today.

Lewis, 51, was found in his bathroom with a wound to his chest.

He was pronounced dead at hospital.

Head of Area Three Police, Derrick Cochrane has condemned the killing.

“We are asking anyone with information to contact the Mandeville CIB, or Head of the Manchester Police Division Lascelles Taylor as soon as possible,”Cochrane said.

“We intend to go all out in finding who did this heinous crime.”
