West Indies A defeated India A by ten wickets on todays fourth and final day of the deciding third unofficial Test at the Beausejour Cricket Stadium in St. Lucia.
As a result of the victory, the West Indies A have won the series 2-1. Set 97 to win, West Indies A got to the victory target very easily without losing a wicket. Kieran Powell finished on 56 not out and Kraigg Brthwaite 39 not out as the openers got the required runs off 17.5 overs. Earlier, India A closed their second innings on 202 for nine, as Robin Bist was unable to bat. Shami Ahmed was unbeaten on 33. The visitors had resumed the day on 181 for seven. Pacer Kevin McClean was the most successful bowler for West Indies A with five for 57, while fellow pacer Delorn Johnson had three for 54. Kieran Powell, who scored 139 in the first innings and 56 not out in the second innings, was voted Man-of-the-Match. Delorn Johnson was voted Player-of-the-Series.
