Roadwork underway in Manchester

2012-06-26 12:28:51 | (0 Comments)

The National Works Agency says a road patching programme is now underway in sections of Manchester.

NWA Communications Manager Stephen Shaw says 5,000 square meters of roadway, including Main Street in Mandeville, will be targeted.

He says the patching programme is scheduled to be completed next month at a cost of $5 million.

And he says routine maintenance projects are also underway in Trelawny.

Shaw says the programme includes the installation of guard rails in the vicinity of the Duncans All Age School.
