Four more men who were wanted by the police in connection to the August Town killings are now in police custody.

They are Julando Stephens, otherwise called ‘Pelpa’; Michael Stephens, otherwise called ‘Scrappy’; Nicholas Nesbeth and Jehus Ferguson.

Yesterday Omar Walker, otherwise called ‘Thirteen’; Romaine Simmonds, also known as ‘Robba’ and Marvin Dubidad, were taken into police custody.

The men were being sought in relation to Saturday’s shooting death of two men in the August Town community.

But the police are still searching for Dwayne Markland, otherwise called ‘Chicky Bird’, and Rohan Miles, otherwise called ‘Tuffy’, both from August Town.

Meanwhile, the police say there is a connection between Saturday’s double murder and a 2006 case.

Head of the St Andrew Central Police Senior Superintendent Derrick Knight says Rohan Simpson, one of the men killed, was the brother of a man who is a witness in the case.

He says the witness in the case is currently being protected by the police.
