2012-06-29 13:04:42 | (0 Comments)

A state of Emergency is in effect for parts of Colorado as wildfires have forced tens of thousands from their homes in the US state.

The Waldo Canyon fire has destroyed 346 houses, making it the most destructive in the state's history.

Officials said another blaze in northern Colorado - the High Park fire - has killed one person and has destroyed 257 homes.

They believe it could take weeks to get the wildfires under control.
