Two high-powered rifles seized after St James shooting

The police say they have seized two high-powered rifles following a shooting incident in St James, this morning, that left one man dead.

The dead man was still unidentified up to news time.

The Constabulary Communications Network says the incident has been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations as is required.

It is reported that the man was fatally shot during a confrontation with the police in Camrose District, St James, about 4 a.m.

The police say a M4 Winchester Rifle and a Colt AR-15 Assault Rifle along with several rounds of ammunition were seized during the incident.
