Shelly, VCB and Anneisha lead qualifiers for 200m final

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is aiming for the sprint double after recording the fastest time to lead all women in tomorrow's 200m final at the JAAA/SVL Jamaica Senior National Championships at the National Stadium.

Fraser-Pryce who won the 100m yesterday in a time of national record of 10.70 seconds won semi-final two of the women's 200m in 22.55 seconds, Sherone Simpson was second in 22.66 seconds, with Simone Facey third in 23.45 seconds.



Defending champion Veronica Campbell- Brown qualified for the final after winning semi-final one of the women's 200m in 22.79 seconds, Samantha Henry Robinson was second in 22.83 seconds and Schillionie Calvert third in 23.16 seconds.

Anneisha McLaughlin also qualified for the final after winning semi-final three of the women's 200m in 22.83 seconds, Kerron Stewart was second in 22.96 seconds, while Aleen Bailey was third in 23.01 seconds.
