Yohan 'The Beast" Blake ran an impressive qualifying time in the semi-finals of the men's 200m to lead a star studded field for tomorrow's final of the event at the JAAA/SVL Jamaica Senior National Championships at the National Stadium today.

Blake won in 19.93 seconds ahead of Warren Weir who ran a personal best for second in 19.99 seconds and Julian Forte who came third in 20.40 seconds. ‪



Usain Bolt took his semi-final of the men's 200m at a canter in a time of 20.26 seconds, Marvin Anderson was second in 20.32 seconds while Ainsley Waugh was third in 20.81 seconds.

Nickel Ashmeade won his semi-final with a time of 20.15 seconds, with Nesta Carter second in 20.37 seconds, while Jason Young was third with 20.42 seconds.
