Dominica: Six people held in drug bust

Police say four Dominicans, as well as a St. Lucian and a resident of St. Maarten are to appear in court today, after police seized more than thirty kilograms of cocaine in Dominica yesterday.

Officials said the arrest and seizure was as a result of a joint operation between the drug and marine units of the police force.

A boat was also seized in the operation.

The street value of the drugs has not yet been disclosed.
