Oil spill downtown Kingston

Fire personnel were up to late last night working to contain an oil spill along Port Royal Street in downtown, Kingston.

The substance leaked after a tanker overturned along the roadway.

It is not yet known if the fire personnel managed to clean up the gasolene before it reached the Kingston Harbour.

The truck driver, who reportedly received minor injuries, was taken to hospital for treatment.
