NewsJurors no-show stall Ninja Man's murder trial2012-07-16 17:32:07 | (0 Comments) ![]() Ninja Man - File Photo The murder trial involving dancehall artiste Ninja Man was this morning put off in the Home Circuit court because of a shortage of jurors. At least 58 jurors were needed for the start of the trial but only 15 showed up. The matter is now scheduled for November 19. Ninja Man, whose real name is Desmond Ballentine, is charged jointly with his son and two other men for the March 16, 2009 murder of Richard Johnson. Earlier this month the court lifted a curfew enforced on the entertainer allowing him to perform and raise funds to fight his murder rap. Ninja Man and his son have been granted bail in the sum of $2 million each. radio@gleanerjm.com Source: The Gleaner/Power 106 News Send your images, videos and updates to youreport@gleanerjm.com | Click here to Comment Your Comments
