Health ministry warns of fake cheques

The Health Ministry is advising the public to be on the lookout for forged cheques purporting to be payable by the Southern Regional Health Authority.

The Ministry said the fraudulent cheques are drawn on the National Commercial Bank.

It said merchants and other persons who may be in doubt of cheques from the Southern Regional Health Authority should contact the agency, so that they can be verified.
