Canadian companies seeking Jamaican workers

The Ministry of Labour and Social Security is seeking workers for immediate job placements with trucking and mining companies in Canada.

In a release, the Ministry said interested applicants must have at least five to six years experience in any of the following areas: Heavy-duty mechanic, operators of heavy equipment such as backhoes, crawlers, shovels, dozers, excavators and diggers, as well as drivers of cement mixing trucks.

Interested applicants should write to or visit the Ministry’s head office at North Street, Kingston.
