NewsGolding still hospitalised2012-08-03 13:16:26 | (0 Comments) ![]() Former Prime Minister Bruce Golding - file photo. Golding was flown out on Sunday. Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) officials say he has been ailing with back problems for years but it became worse in the last two months. This is his third surgery as doctors seek to rectify the problem. Former minister with responsibility for Information, Daryl Vaz confirmed that Golding underwent surgery. However, he said he cannot say when the former JLP leader will be released from hospital or when he will return to the island. Golding quit as party leader and prime minister last November following an extradition debacle involving convicted Tivoli Gardens’ don Christopher “Dudus” Coke. He has maintained a low profile since demitting office. radio@gleanerjm.com Source: The Gleaner/Power 106 News Send your images, videos and updates to youreport@gleanerjm.com | Click here to Comment Your Comments
