Dorian Scott finishes 10th in shot put final

Jamaican Dorian Scott has finished tenth with a mark of 20.61m in the men’s shot put final.

Scott this morning became the first Jamaican thrower to make an Olympic final after he threw 20.31m.

“I just want to keep improving, I want to have some clean throws, I don’t have a number in mind but I just want to go hard,” said Scott after his performance.

Poland's Tomasz Majewski won gold with a season best throw of 21.89.

Germany's David Storl won silver with his throw of 21.86 and America's Reese Hoffa third with a mark of 21.33
