NEW VIDEO: Usain Bolt electrifies Half Way Tree

Half Way Tree, St. Andrew was ‘electric city’ this afternoon as hundreds of people turned out to watch Usain Bolt set a new Olympic record in the men’s 100m final in 9.63 seconds.

His compatriot Yohan Blake finished second in a time of 9.75 seconds.

The Gleaner’s Olympic coverage team was in Half Way Tree to capture the energy.
